- State Government to establish new and exciting Public Sector ICT Graduate and Internship Program
- The Program will ensure the public sector has the skills and expertise required to address current and future ICT workforce needs
The State Government is establishing a new Public Sector ICT Graduate Program that will create a diverse and compelling opportunity for ICT graduates looking for jobs after finishing their studies.
The program will be targeted at students and graduates from a range of in-demand ICT disciplines such as Data Science and Analytics and Cyber Security.
It is hoped up to 40 graduates will be recruited for the program.
Graduates will complete a number of rotations between agencies across the Western Australian Government, getting real world experience in their chosen fields and the opportunity to apply their skills to progress the Government's digital priorities.
WA Government agencies will be involved in this unique opportunity to develop and improve ICT skills and growth of the public sector's digital capabilities.
