- Taste WA trade mission this week will promote Western Australian produce to international markets
- Week-long program to connect international buyers with local food and beverage producers
Western Australia's diverse selection of food will be showcased to international buyers through the Taste WA trade mission this week.
Twenty-five food buyers from markets including China, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan will visit Western Australia, touring the metropolitan, South-West and Great Southern regions.
The week-long program will allow visitors to connect with local agribusinesses, sample high-quality food and beverages, and gain an insight into their provenance and quality.
The visit is hosted by the McGowan Government, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA and Austrade.
In addition, two Indonesian fresh produce buyers and retailers will visit WA this week to source horticultural products for the Indonesian market.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to take buyers through the South-West and Great Southern regions to experience their pristine environment and sample the excellent food produced in these areas, including Margaret River, Southern Forest regions and Albany.
"Buyers will attend producer site visits, paddock to plate dining experiences and undertake business matching events with WA producers, alongside visits to a selection of outstanding tourism attractions."
