The Buddha's Birthday and Multicultural Festival returns to Perth's Supreme Court Gardens on 11 and 12 March 2023.

Featuring food, entertainment and activities, this family friendly event, hosted by Buddha's Light International Association of Western Australia (BLIAWA) is expected to attract more than 20,000 people.

With mass meditation sessions, multicultural performances and a vegetarian food fair, this festival will give people of all ages and cultural backgrounds the opportunity to come together and learn about health, wellbeing and spirituality.

The celebrations will also recognise the 30th anniversary of BLIAWA, whose work aims to benefit society through education, supporting gender equality, the provision of medical services and emergency relief, and aiding environmental sustainability.

This year's festival will also feature multi-faith leaders offering a prayer for hope, unity in spirit and action, good health, and world peace.

This two-day culturally diverse extravaganza is supported by the McGowan Government with $30,000 through the Office of Multicultural Interests' Community Grants Program.
