The Public Sector Commissioner Sharyn O'Neill PSM has been appointed to a second five-year term.

Ms O'Neill was first appointed Commissioner in July 2018 following 12 years as Director General of the Department of Education.

As Commissioner, Ms O'Neill is implementing a significant reform agenda to ensure the public sector is robust, capable and fit for the challenges of the future.

Continuing this strong, strategic leadership of the public sector is vital as we continue our recovery from the pandemic and its global flow-on effects.

Ms O'Neill's appointment was approved by His Excellency the Governor in his key constitutional role of presiding over Executive Council.
