- Clarence Estate Community Centre now open in Albany, providing dedicated care to older residents in the Great Southern

Albany is now home to a dedicated aged care community centre thanks to a $1 million grant from the McGowan Government.
Officially opened today by Premier Mark McGowan and Health Minister Amber-Jade Sanderson, Clarence Community Centre provides a new base for a range of services for older residents in the Great Southern, including nursing, allied health and other therapeutic services.
The new building, while physically located in Albany, will also facilitate a mobile assessment service to communities like Bremer Bay, Kojonup, Ongerup and Walpole.
The $1 million investment forms part of the State Government's commitment to bring care close to home, regardless of where you live, and helps ensure some of the Great Southern's most vulnerable residents have access to high quality, patient-centred support services.
Clarence Community Centre will be operated by Hall & Prior - an established residential aged care provider in the Great Southern.
