More than one million Western Australians have rolled up to protect themselves from influenza this winter.
The McGowan Government's Free Jab June and July program has helped boost influenza vaccinations with free jabs available throughout the State.
To date more than 1,036,000 people have received an influenza vaccination, 37 per cent of WA's population.
WA is on track to achieve its greatest influenza vaccine coverage this year. Thanks to Free Jab June and July, more than 362,000 jabs were administered during June and July.
In previous years, only certain cohorts were offered free influenza vaccinations, under existing State and Commonwealth vaccination programs.
To date, more than 10,000 influenza cases have been notified to the Department of Health in 2022.

"The health of every Western Australian is a priority for my Government, which is why we made influenza vaccines free for every single person during June and July.
"Less than 20 per cent of Western Australians were vaccinated for the flu before our free program started in June, and in less than two months we're on track to beat WA's previous record of 37 per cent during 2020.
"Thank you to all those who rolled up their sleeves and to pharmacists and GPs for their support of this important initiative."
