- Tickets on sale for Wallabies 2022 eToro England Series Perth test match
- England to play Wallabies in an Optus Stadium debut
- Supported by the McGowan Government through Tourism WA, in partnership with Rugby Australia
Tickets for the first game of the Wallabies 2022 eToro England Series are now on sale, with seats for the Perth test match set to be snapped up by rugby fans.
The international rugby union test match scheduled for July 2, 2022 was secured by the McGowan Government through Tourism Western Australia, in partnership with Rugby Australia.
It will be the first time England Rugby has played a test match in Perth in more than a decade and will be the team's Optus Stadium debut.
The test match is the first of the three-game England tour and is testament to Perth's success in hosting huge sporting events, after more than 52,000 fans packed out Optus Stadium for last year's Bledisloe Cup.
The Wallabies v England match is expected to attract thousands of out-of-State visitors and inject millions of dollars into the WA economy, supporting local jobs and businesses. The event is also anticipated to generate millions in broadcast media value.
