    • $26.35 million project expected to be completed for the 2024 school year

Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery announced today the appointment of Carabiner Architects to design a new primary school in Henley Brook.

Henley Brook South Primary School (planning name) will cater for 430 students from kindergarten to Year 6.

Master planning of the design is under way, with construction of the school scheduled to commence towards the end of this year.

The brand new school will include an administration block, early childhood teaching block, teaching blocks with general learning areas, an inclusive education room and specialist rooms for art and science.

It will have a library, covered assembly area, music room, oval and hard courts, with rooftop panels to also be installed.

The new school will provide enrolment relief for the nearby Brabham Primary School and another education option for families in the growing area.

Works at the school are expected to be completed in time to welcome students for the 2024 school year.
