- New travel portal for international students launched
- Important resource to offer information and support for students
- Part of McGowan Government's plan to build the sector as Western Australia reconnects with the world
A new one-stop shop has been launched to help international students enter Western Australia.
The International Student Travel Portal provides links to relevant government travel and health information, and a direct booking service for students to book flights. If students cannot find a suitable flight, they are able to access assistance through the travel portal from the travel agent.
Information on the McGowan Government's support programs for international students, including the $8 million Student Quarantine Support Program, will also be provided.
The site contains useful tips on how to book travel, how to download a G2G pass, public health measures, the SafeWA app and contact details for more information or advice.
The portal can be found at https://www.travelandsports.com.au/likenoother-travel
