- Burswood Park Board welcomes new board member John McGrath
Respected former Member of Parliament John McGrath has been appointed to the Burswood Park Board, which oversees the 53 hectare parkland on the banks of the Swan River.
Mr McGrath will replace retiring board president Janelle Marr, who has resigned in order to fulfil another board position, on March 1.
Burswood Park is governed by a five member board, which reports to the Racing and Gaming Minister.
Mr McGrath brings decades of experience from a career in media and as a Member of Parliament.
