- David Doepel appointed Peel Development Commission Chairperson

Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan has appointed David Doepel as Chair of the Board of the Peel Development Commission.
Mr Doepel has been on the Peel Development Commission Board since January 2020 and brings a wealth of knowledge through his work with Murdoch University and the Future Food Systems CRC, with more than 30 years of experience on innovation in industry, academia and government.
Mr Doepel's appointment as chairperson replaces outgoing chairperson Paddi Creevey OAM, who has completed close to nearly four years as chair of the Commission.
The State Government has also reappointed Michelle Sidebottom as a community representative for a further three-year term.
Ms Sidebottom works extensively within the tourism industry running her own project management, facility management and consultancy company.
