- Architect appointed for $18.3 million Lynwood Senior High School upgrade
- Construction expected to start in December 2021
- Project to support about 64 jobs in the construction industry
Lynwood Senior High School is set for an $18.3 million boost, with a range of new buildings and amenities planned for the 46-year-old southern suburbs school.
The design will be completed by With Architecture which has been appointed recently. The project will include a new classroom building, student services, performing arts centre, sports hall and various refurbishments.
Construction is expected to begin in December 2021.
This project is part of the McGowan Government's Recovery Program investing $492.2 million for upgrades and refurbishments at public schools around Western Australia.

"This is a significant project at Lynwood Senior High School; it will see ageing infrastructure replaced with new buildings, to create top rate learning and recreation spaces for students.
"Students will enjoy hitting the stage in a new performing arts centre, while the new sports hall will be an outstanding space for physical education.
"The project is part of the State Government's commitment to enhance facilities at 63 public schools around Western Australia."
