    • South West Multicultural Festival one of Western Australia's largest
    • Event supported by the McGowan Government with $19,000 contribution

The annual South West Multicultural Festival returns to Bunbury this weekend, bringing with it an array of activities, cultural performances, music, dancing and cuisines from across the globe.

Hosted by the Bunbury Multicultural Group, the festival has evolved into one of the most popular festivals in the region and one of the largest multicultural festivals in the State.

The free, family friendly event will be held at Bicentennial Square tomorrow (February 22) from 3pm to 9pm.

The community festival is supported by the McGowan Government with $5,000 through the Office of Multicultural Interests' Community Grants Program, and $14,000 from Healthway.

This year's festival includes an experience zone that offers Sikh turban wrapping, Filipino dance workshops, and Kimono and Sari demonstrations - culminating with a concert under the stars.
