Comments attributed to Transport Minister Rita Saffioti:

"I'm probably one of WA's biggest Fremantle Dockers fans - but I think all Western Australians can appreciate how much hard work and effort goes into an AFL season. Winning a premiership is a testament to hard work and dedication.

"Supporters can remember the good times by proudly displaying the 2018 Premiers plates on their car.

"Part proceeds will be kept by the West Coast Eagles and re-invested into the Club and its important grassroots programs including the Wirrpanda Foundation.

"Other proceeds will be divided between the Department of Transport and the WA Police, who will use the funding for crime prevention initiatives.

"This is a win for West Coast Eagles supporters and the broader community."
