- Rental mooring bookings can now be made 24 hours a day
- Online system to better identify vacant moorings
A new booking system for Rottnest rental moorings is making it easier for boat owners to enjoy a visit to Western Australia's premier holiday island.
The changes mean boat owners can book and pay for one of 101 rental moorings on the island, 24 hours a day, seven days a week and from any device.
Short-term rental moorings are available at Thomson, Geordie and Longreach bays and include jetty and beach pens.
The new system, which has been launched ahead of the 2019-20 summer season, will make it easier for users to identify vacant moorings and available times.

"With a record 785,000 visitors last year, including thousands of boating visitors, we are consistently looking to build on the island's appeal and sustainability into the future.
"Part of this investment in the future is a new online rental mooring booking system."
