Comments attributed to Community Services Minister Simone McGurk:
"There are more than 320,000 carers in Western Australia who provide unpaid care, support and assistance to people with disability or chronic illnesses, including mental illness, or who are frail.
"Therefore it is vital that carers are supported and respected, and that we listen to their experiences.
"I encourage all carers, and those working with them, to attend the engagement session in Bunbury."
