- Minister officially opens major redevelopment at Churchlands Senior High School
- Extensive $34.6 million state-of-the-art build includes classrooms and sporting facilities
Education and Training Minister Sue Ellery today officially opened the $34.6 million expansion at Churchlands Senior High School.
The major addition to the school's facilities includes 19 new classrooms and 12 new science laboratories as well as four rooms for photography, ceramics and media studies.
There is also an indoor sports hall with two full-size basketball courts plus outdoor netball courts; and the dance studio has been refurbished.
Students will also benefit from a new world-class technology centre with the latest equipment for woodwork and metalwork programs.
The additional classrooms will help cater for the significant growth in student numbers at Churchlands Senior High School over the past five years.
