    • Sixth annual Inspiring Entrepreneurship Luncheon in Perth

Three successful businesswomen have shared their stories with more than 100 guests at an event aimed at inspiring potential female entrepreneurs in Western Australia.

Guests from the business and community sectors attended the sixth annual Inspiring Entrepreneurship Luncheon at the Parmelia Hilton in Perth today.

The event celebrates and recognises women in business and enterprise, particularly those who are also involved in social enterprise or philanthropy.

As the economic impact of women entrepreneurs continues to rise each year, the opportunity to hear from successful female entrepreneurs provides valuable skills and networking opportunities for women aspiring to take the next step with their business.

Keynote speakers include Amanda Healy from Kirrikin, Sarah Mateljan from CourseGenius and April Jorgensen from Niche Education Group, with Grace Mugabe from Financially Empowered acting as MC.

The event is an initiative of the Department of Local Government and Communities, with support from the Small Business Development Corporation and the Department of State Development.  For more information, visit https://www.dlgc.wa.gov.au
