Bike riders coming into the city now will have a better idea of where to go for parking, showers and other facilities with the release of an informative map.
The map is a joint initiative of the State Government's Bikewest program and the City of Perth.
Transport Minister Pam Beggs today said the map showed more than 20 areas in the central business district with facilities for cyclists. They also include information on safety issues.
"This latest map is a valuable addition to other map series Bikewest has produced.
"These other maps show safe cycling routes in the city and suburbs.
"If cycling is to develop further as a means of day-to-day commuting, especially to and from the centre of the city, then it is important facilities are provided.
"Bikewest and the City of Perth are to be congratulated on their initiative and I am sure cyclists will find the information useful."
The maps are available from the City of Perth, Bikewest's office in Fremantle Malls and bike shops.
