    27/12/2005 12:00 AM

More than 20,000 students will be able to find out their Year 12 results online from midnight tonight.

Education and Training Minister Ljiljanna Ravlich said results would be available online at https://www.year12results.wa.edu.au or by calling the TISCLine (Tertiary Institutions Service Centre phone line) on 1901 191 091 (82.5c per minute, higher from mobile or public phones).

“For those students patient enough to wait, the results will also be mailed out to their homes over the next few days,” Ms Ravlich said.

“The website and TISCLine will provide students with their subject results, Tertiary Entrance Rank and eligibility for university.

“The website also provides students with their results in all the subjects they studied in Years 11 and 12, their achievements in vocational education and training and whether they have achieved the Western Australian Certificate of Education.”

Ms Ravlich said the TISCLine and TISC website - http://www.tisc.edu.au - provided all university applicants a chance to change and check their university preferences

“Of the 20,212 students who completed Year 12 in Government and non-Government schools, 13,400 sat TEE subjects,” she said.

“So it is very important that we get their results out to them as quickly, and in as many ways, as possible.

“Students will have to provide their personal identification number before they can access any results through the TISCLine or the website.”

Information about first round offer of university places will be available on the TISCLine and TISC website from Wednesday, January 18.

The Gallop Government is committed to delivering a world-class education to all Western Australians.
