Main Roads WA is set to undertake pavement repairs at various locations totalling 1.7km on the Mingenew Morawa Road, 125km south-east of Geraldton, as part of its continuous improvements for the road.
Planning and Infrastructure Minister Alannah MacTiernan said the planned works would provide improved safety and a better level of service for all road users on this important freight route.
“The road works are to be undertaken by Main Roads’ term network contractor, CSR Emoleum at a cost of $514,282 and will be carried out with minimum disruption and inconvenience to road traffic,” Ms MacTiernan said.
The work is due to commence later this month and is expected to be completed in February 2006.
