Fair Trading team in Bunbury
7/11/2000 11:48 AM
Fair Trading officers will be at the Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre from
Thursday, November 9 to Saturday, November 11
, to give advice and information on fair trading matters.
The three officers include a finance industry specialist who will be on hand to answer queries in relation to finance broking and mortgage investments.
Fair Trading Minister Doug Shave said regional visits were a chance for people to seek information and advice in person.
“The information team in Bunbury will be located conveniently in the shopping centre and will have a range of free informative publications on hand as well as offering personal one-on-one advice,” he said.
“Information and advice on a big range of subjects will be available.
“Issues which attract the biggest number of inquiries range from car repairs and car buying tips, tenancy, building and computer advice, to scams and general fair trading matters.”
The Fair Trading team will be on duty from 9am-9pm on Thursday, November 9, 9am-5pm on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11.
Anyone who cannot attend the three-day display can obtain information from the Fair Trading web-site at
or, for the cost of a local call from anywhere in the State, by calling the
Ministry Call Centre on 1300 30 40 54.
