Seven schools and six education support centres will be air-cooled as part of a State Government $2.75 million initiative.
Education Minister Colin Barnett said today the 13 schools and centres were some of 130 in the four-year program.
Mr Barnett said the air-cooling raised the level of comfort in classrooms for students and teachers.
Schools in which air-cooling would be installed were Bullsbrook District High School, Chidlow Primary School, Eastern Hills Senior High School, Goomalling Primary School, Mount Helena Primary School, Woorooloo Primary School and Wundowie Primary School.
The education support centres to be air-cooled were Warnbro Community High School, Newton Moore, South Bunbury, Manjimup, Spencer Park and Esperance Senior High School.
