- More than $60,000 in grants to support 12 community events and projects around the State
Western Australian communities from Derby to Rockingham will share in more than $60,000 for road safety initiatives thanks to the Liberal National Government's Road Trauma Trust Account.
Deputy Premier and Road Safety Minister Liza Harvey said the latest round of grants would support events which promoted road safety to local communities.
"The person who can have the biggest impact on road safety is the individual motorist and these community events are a great way to reach and interact with local drivers," Ms Harvey said.
