Education support centre welcomes new administration building
$655,000 upgrade enhances look and function of school
The Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre has a new administration building, thanks to State Government funding.
Education Minister Peter Collier officially opened a new building today, and said the school now had a welcoming entrance with universal access for students and families.
"The new facilities have changed the look of the school and have provided extra space for students and staff," Mr Collier said.
There are three new offices, a storage room, interview room and a digital printing room.
The Minister said the school provided excellent support for students with disability as they moved towards graduation.
"The school has an outstanding record with more than 90 per cent of students completing Vocational Education and Training certificates," he said.
"Extensive opportunities for workplace learning mean all students have achieved meaningful pathways after graduating.
The extra space in the new building allows the school to further its successful health and wellbeing focus.
Mr Collier said the program has improved attendance and behaviour outcomes.
Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre started in 1999 with one class of students
