The 2013 Grants for Women program has opened, with up to $5,000 available to eligible organisations for projects and activities that encourage the engagement of Western Australian women in the community.

    • encouraged women’s sense of safety in the home or community

“The Grants for Women program is an excellent way for local communities to promote the equality of women,” Mrs McSweeney said.

“I encourage all eligible groups to contact the Department for Communities to discuss their project and apply for one of these grants through the program, which is open until Friday March 8.”
