Portfolio: Regional Development
Regional Development Minister Brendon Grylls today met local recipients of the inaugural Mid West Regional Grants Scheme.
Mr Grylls said the Mid West Regional Grants Scheme’s first round, administered by the Mid West Development Commission, had helped fund 39 projects across the region.
“The scheme was designed to fund projects that help attract investment, increase jobs or improve the quality of life in regional Western Australia and I am delighted to see it help so many projects in the region,” he said.
“It has been amazing to see the diversity of the projects people have put forward and particularly encouraging to see the ideas and opportunities they’ve identified in their proposals.
“It has been a real pleasure to meet with some of them today and discuss their plans for the future.”
